¡Hola! - Hello!

I’m Valeria “Vale” Franco, a Spanish tutor/interpreter from Coastal Georgia, providing Spanish tutoring services for middle and high school students . My journey as a Spanish tutor truly started in high school, when I would help out my classmates with their Spanish homework and other assignments. From then on, I have been helping many students on their Spanish language learning journey. I grew up bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, but also know the difficulties that come with learning a foreign language. At the age of fifteen, I decided to pick up French as my third language. Learning a foreign language is no easy task but definitely possible.

Currently, I’m working on finishing my Bachelor’s in International Affairs at Kennesaw State University. My love for languages motivates me to progress in this field. I continue to work as a Spanish language tutor because I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the language with students and being of assistance to their studies. My goal is to help them improve their Spanish whether it be through reading, writing, listening, speaking, or all four areas. I understand the challenges students face when learning a new language and use interactive activities to keep students engaged and motivated during classes. It’s essential that children and adolescents are provided with the necessary tools to develop their language skills and achieve fluency in Spanish. Creating a safe environment where students feel comfortable expressing and challenging themselves is what I continuously strive for.

Additionally, I value the opportunities that learning another language provides, as I believe that expanding the linguistic and cultural horizons of children and adolescents can open doors in the globalized world in which we live. I’m excited to be part of your child's learning journey and help them discover the wonders that mastering a foreign language can bring!
